About US

Molly & Amber are the motiv8mamas!  Gosh, where to begin??!?  Well, first off, we are super excited to FINALLY get this site live!  This seems like it has been forever in the making, but at least we finally have a blogsite ready for you guys.  It will take a few days to get some actual content on here, so be patient and you will find some good stuff!  I know our Vimeo link isn’t working yet, so we are still working through some kinks there.

Now to the good stuff!  What are we all about??!?  Well, we are here to motivate, (hopefully) inspire, post recipes, little workouts, food, family stuff, and other lifestyle jazz like what kind of shoes we like best for working out, fave mascara, and whatever else is on our minds!  We definitely aren’t fashion mavens, super moms, awesome worker-outers (totally made that up, but it sounds cool), or the cleanest eaters, but we, like everyone out there, try to be!  We just decided that we wanted to share it with everyone else!  We are both Bootcamp Instructors (T3 Bootcamp, Fort Mill www.facebook.com/triplethreattrainingsc) at 5:30am, so we are up and working with our amazing group of bootcampers while most are still sleeping.  I have to tell you, these guys motivate me!  It’s pretty insane to see so many people dedicated to that early morning time!

A little about us . . .

  I’m 38, a photographer by trade (www.ambermcdowell.com) and I live in Fort Mill, SC.  I have a wonderful husband, Travis, who supports all of my crazy ideas, and two little redheaded twins, Aaron and Noah.  My kids are ALL boy, play football, fight with each other,  and are best friends.  They drive me insane somedays, but they rock my world every day.  We are diehard Clemson Tiger fans, I love tennis, and if I have to like an NFL team, I’m all Panthers.

I am Group Fitness certified through AFAA and I also have my Group Personal Training Certification through NASM.  I’ve taught bootcamp for years and love the atmosphere and environment!  My favorite style of class to teach for bootcamp is a HIIT or Tabata based class!  I love the pace and energy!  I also teach a Dance Cardio class on occasion.  I call it more “Hot Mess Dance Cardio” because sometimes we seriously have no idea what we’re doing!  I do love it, though, because I can get my cardio without having to run!  (I hate running!)  I love weightlifting and what it can do for your body.

I am so excited about this new venture!  I met Molly through our old bootcamp and we just clicked.  We have a lot of the same interests and ultimately love helping others.

  I’m 40 (yup I said it…), I am a Imaging Supervisor at a local ER and currently relocated to Fort Mill, SC for Orlando, FL. My husband, Joe, was offered an opportunity to relocate in the Carolinas so we took it ready for a new adventure. Yes, we left the sunshine state after 25 years and loving the change of seasons here.. well besides when it snow.  I have a teenage (yikes) daughter, Riley and a son, Brody, who are amazing kids and are why I am who I am.

In my “younger years” I worked at an all womens gym, after working 20 years in hospital based healthcare I decided to go back to my passion.  I have always been an avid runner hitting the gym a few times a week, as much as I possible with 2 kids in active sports.

I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer doing one on one training and I also teach early am bootcamps with Amber, like she said when we met it just clicked!  I’m so excited to share this new adventure with all of you!!
